Ekopak Belgium

Ekopak was founded in 2004 in Belgium and is currently a key player in industrial water treatment. The company focuses on innovative technology for water recycling. In 2018, Ekopak introduced the business model Water-as-a-Service (WaaS) into the market. Ekopak has a global client base and is active in +10 countries. All Ekopak shares are listed on Euronext Brussels (ticker EKOP) since 2021.

Ekopak France

The year 2021 marks the birth of Ekopak France, with offices based in Rouen & Lyon. With this investment, Ekopak aims to meet the high demand for sustainable water installations. The establishment of Ekopak France is a logical and necessary step towards further European expansion. Ekopak France is currently well established in the market with clients such as TotalEnergies, Borealis, EDF, etc.

Circeaulair

Circeaulair is a joint-venture between Ekopak Sustainable water and EPICo², with Aquafin as a partner. Circeaulair offers a decentralized circular water solution. It is a major collaboration between the public and the private sector, in which Ekopak plays an active role. In concrete terms, the effluent (or treated wastewater) coming from Aquafin’s waste water treatment plant (WWTP), is converted into process water for industrial purposes. This is done through a water treatment installation which Ekopak will install close to Aquafin’s WWTP. From here, a new pipeline network will be created transporting the process water directly to the company or the business park. This pipeline network will ensure the supply of recycled process water.

Global Water & Energy

GLOBAL WATER & ENERGY (GWE) is a solution provider to the global marketplace for industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse and production of green energy. With hundreds of worldwide installations and over 40 years of application experience, GWE tackles the toughest wastewater and organic waste-to-energy problems. Throughout the years, GWE has developed an extended network of qualified local partners in more than 20 countries and currently operates globally through regional offices in Belgium, The Netherlands, Philippines, Thailand & USA. GWE is part of Ekopak since 2023.

H2O Production

H2O Production is located in Pithiviers, France, and brings 20 years of expertise in several technologies applied for the production of demineralised water and also has the know-how to address PFOS/PFAS contamination. The expertise of H2O Production in regenerating resins also represents a significant additional asset for the group’s technological know-how. H2O Production was acquired by Ekopak Sustainable Water in 2022.
